Removing and Installing Rear Guides with Cables

The sunroof cables are integral with the rear guides and can only be replaced as a unit.

To remove and install:

1.	Remove the sunroof as described in 7.1 Removing and Installing Sunroof. Remove the screws that hold the wind deflector to the roof and remove it from the car.

2.	Remove the window crank and crank trim panel, and then remove the two screws and the cable drive as shown previously in Fig 7-9.

3.	Remove the left and right rail cover screws and remove the covers. See Fig. 7-10. Remove the front guides.

4.	Pull the cable assembly and the rear guides from the guide rails as shown in Fig. 7-11.
