7.1 Removing and Installing Sunroof
To remove:
1. | Open the sunroof halfway. Use a wooden or plastic wedge to pry the front edge of the trim panel from the sunroof. See Fig. 7-1. Pry as close as possible to each of the clips. Remove the clips and push the panel back into the roof. |
2. | Close the sunroof and remove the Phillips head screws from the left and right front guides as shown in Fig. 7-2. |

3. | At the rear guides, unhook the left and right leaf springs and swing them inward as indicated in Fig. 7-3. |

4. | Remove the screws from the rear guides, then slide the support plate inwards and remove it. See Fig. 7-4. Remove the sunroof through the top of the car. |

Installation is the reverse of removal. If the interior trim panel was removed from the vehicle, install it into the roof and push it back before installing the sunroof. When the rear guides are installed, align them as shown in Fig. 7-5. Adjust the sunroof as described in 7.2 Adjusting Sunroof fit before attaching the trim panel.
