4. Brake System Service
This section provides the requirements for the brake fluid, the methods for bleeding the brake system, and the servicing of the master cylinder, vacuum booster, and pressure regulator.

 | Cleanliness is extremely important when working on the brakes, particularly on those cars equipped with ABS. |
| Clean all connections and unions before disconnecting. |
| Work only on clean surfaces, and cover open or removed components with paper or lint-free cloths. |
| Install only clean parts. |
| Avoid moving the car or using compressed air while the system is open. |
