The rear suspension can be removed and installed as a unit for replacement or for facilitating rear body repairs. The axle beam is mounted to the body by brackets at the front of the axle, cushioned and supported by replaceable rubber bushings. Replacement of the axle beam bushings also requires removal of the axle assembly and mounting brackets.
