5.4 Bearings and BushingsThe front suspension includes wheel bearings, strut bearings, and suspension control arm bushings. All are subject to wear and deterioration, and all are replaceable. The strut bearings are replaced by disassembling the struts as described in 5.1 Front Suspension Struts. The control arm bushings are press-fit into the control arms and can be replaced after removing the control arms. The wheel bearings are press-fit into the wheel bearing housing and the wheel hub, and can be replaced after removing the wheel bearing housing. |
