An in-line connector disconnects the sensor wiring. The sensor itself is threaded into place. When installing, apply a light coat of anti-seize compound to the threads, but be careful not to get any into the slits of the probe. Torque the sensor to 50 Nm (37 ft. lb.) and reconnect the wiring.
