Replacing Oxygen Sensor

On cars with engine code PF, the oxygen sensor is located in the front of the catalytic converter housing. On cars with engine code RV, the oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust manifold, just above the front exhaust pipe connection. To replace an oxygen sensor in either case, disconnect the oxygen sensor harness connector and use a wrench on the hex portion of the sensor housing. Apply an anti-seize compound to the threads of the new sensor. Install the sensor, torque to 50 Nm (37 ft. lb.), and reconnect the harness connector.

CAUTION-

Do not let anti-seize compound come into contact with the slit portion of the sensor body.
