The fuel tank is located beneath the car, behind the rear seat, and is constructed of plastic to avoid corrosion problems. The capacity of the fuel tank is 55 liters (14.5 gallons). Included with the fuel tank are the fuel gauge sending unit, the transfer pump which supplies fuel to the main fuel pump, connecting lines for the evaporative emission control system, and a fuel return line.
