Rear Lid Activator

To remove the rear lid activator, open the lid and remove the inside trim panel, where applicable, by unclipping the panel fasteners. Remove the retaining screws, pull the hose from the activator, and unhook the connecting rod as shown in Fig. 5-17. Installation is the reverse of removal.
