4.4 Heater and Controls (without air conditioning)

The heating and ventilation system and its controls are shown in Fig. 4-16. The heater box contains the heater core, and three doors operated by the control head to regulate air temperature and air flow. The top lever of the control head is connected by cables to the instrument panel vent door and the defrost/heater door. The bottom lever is connected by cable to the blending door for temperature regulation.
