Adjust the selector lever cable with the shift lever in P. Loosen the nut clamping the cable to the actuating lever on the transmission. Make sure that the transmission lever is in the Park position by hand-pushing the actuating lever fully to the left. Tighten the nut to 8 Nm (71 in. lb.). Check that the cable is correctly adjusted by starting the engine and moving the selector lever through all shift positions.
