Customer statement / workshop findings
The engine has no performance, the engine warning light is on and the following
entry is logged in the engine control unit:
• 05522 P1592 altitude sender signal/boost pressure sensor - implausible ratio
• 18000 P1592 altitude sender signal/boost pressure sensor - implausible ratio
• 08825 P2279 air leak in intake system
• 00665 P0299 below boot pressure control limit

Proceed as follows:
• Check whether the complaint is present. Switch on the ignition, select the
function 01 self-diagnosis on and check in the measured value block 10 whether
there is a deviation of over 50 mbar in display field 2 and 3.
The measured pressure values depend on the altitude and the weather. Tolerance
range up to an altitude of about 300 m.
If there is an increased deviation, proceed as follows:
Clean earth points
Fit wiring loom (part number 1KD 971 658)
Update the software of the engine control unit
