Removing Plastic Bumper Cover

The plastic bumper cover can be replaced. A Volkswagen tool and a press will make installation easier. To replace the cover, first remove the bumper as described above. Work the old cover off of its plastic clips. See Fig. 6-20. Align the new cover and press it into the bumper until all the clips are securely engaged.
